The Club has commenced a major upgrading of its facilities.
- The Main Straight was upgraded in 2009.
- Stage one of the current upgrade is the relocation of the Pits
Area. As from December this is operational with ongoing work
for completion of the area almost completed
- Stage two will be the extension of the track by about 150
metres. Plans for this track extension have been produced and
approved by KartSport New Zealand. This work has been
tendered for. All things going to plan we hope that the work can
carried out during February and March 2012.
- A new vehicle access has been completed which enables
vehicles to enter the southern part of our property. This will be
used to enable the track extension work to be carried out whilst
we still use the existing track for Club Day racing.

This photo, taken in August
2012, shows the removal of the
last trees on the western side of
our property. That is now the
new pits area. The Technical
Shed has now been extended
and the pit shute shifted to
enable all karts to clear the race
completed. The old pits area is
now the new car park. Soon the
track will be extended by 150
metres in a southern direction at
the top of the photo.
